All of us at Come Paint With Us are excited to announce that we’re resuming paint classes next week at The Foothills Event Center! We’re kicking things off on Tuesday, April 13th, when you can create your own acrylic painting of this brilliant succulent. Whether you are an experienced artist or a beginner, you will find this fun paint class relaxing and entertaining. You don’t need any experience or supplies to create your masterpiece. We will provide paint, brushes, an easel, 16×20″ canvas, and an apron.
Our succulent paint class will be a fun event to enjoy with friends, co-workers, and family. If you come on your own, you will have a new batch of friends by the end. This fun, casual class allows you to release your inner painter while having fun with the other attendees. Laughter is always contagious at our events. You will need a mask to comply with COVID-19 guidelines, and we’ve arranged our studio so attendees will be physically distanced. (If you forget your mask, we will have some available for a small donation.)
Come Paint With Us classes are held at The Foothills Event Center, centrally located on Idaho-Maryland Road just off Highway 49 in Grass Valley. We’re located across the road from Hills Flat and next door to Young’s Carpet. There is plenty of parking in our well-lit parking lot and plenty of space inside for social distancing.
We have limited our class size for your safety. All students will be seated six feet apart and required to wear face masks. Food and drink will be available for purchase as permitted by COVID-19 guidelines.
Anita Pearson will be your instructor, and she is going to provide you with easy-to-follow instructions taught in a step-by-step process. We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time. Arriving a bit early will give you time to check-in, get a beverage, and find a seat. Keep in mind that acrylic paint is near impossible to get out of clothing or shoes. Many painters go out to eat or get drinks after leaving class, so they wear something cute and stylish but not fussy. It’s okay if you’d like to dress super casual, though! Wear what makes you feel good, whether that’s jeans and boots or your favorite t-shirt.
