Anyone who has been to the South Yuba River near Nevada City knows that it’s quite peaceful and picturesque. What a perfect subject for a painting! This painting is a gorgeous re-creation of the experience you have upon visiting the river. Remember your tranquil river experience by creating a painting of it to enjoy in your home! Julia Ward, your artist instructor, included golden tones in the painting, to represent the Wild West and gold rush that occurred in Northern California in the 1800s.
