Come Paint With Us is excited to announce a brand-new addition to our paint & sip classes: Sunset Citrus! This vibrant acrylic painting is easier to paint than it looks, and the class is coming up in just a week. Join us on Wednesday, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm, and we’ll show you how to re-create this captivating painting yourself!
Enjoy a class of wine or a cold one from the Foothills Event Center bar as you create this vivid depiction of an orange. Your instructor, Katherine Dorland, will provide step-by-step instructions on how to paint this sliced orange. It might look complex, but it’s actually super-easy! Katherine will break it down into simple, step-by-step layers and highlights so that your citrus will really “pop”! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our Sunset Citrus painting will joins other Come Paint With Us class offerings, including favorites like the Yuba River, Sugar Skull, and Tahoe Shore. We named this painting “Sunset Citrus” because like the many tones of a beautiful sunset, oranges also display a variety of warm hues when they’re cut open.
There are so many health benefits to eating oranges. Did you know that one orange supplies a full days’ worth of your Vitamin C requirement? With that in mind, we think this painting would be a fitting addition to your kitchen decor. Or, you could gift it to a friend!
Relax and discover your inner artist in a fun, casual environment and let your creative juices flow! You don’t need experience…in fact, most of our class participants are beginners. We hope to see you there! It’ll be a chill evening spent with new and old friends, leisurely creating a vivid citrus fruit.
Come Paint With Us will equip you with all you need to create the Sunset Citrus painting: brushes, paint, a 20×16-inch canvas, an easel, and helpful guidance from Katherine, your acrylic painting class instructor for the evening.
