If your first thought is “I could never do that!” when you look at a painting, then our Bold Sunflower class is going to be perfect for you! It’s happening on Sunday, February 17th from 3:00 to 5:30 pm at the Foothills Event Center. Join us for a chill afternoon spent sipping wine (or beer) while you paint this close-up of a flower.
Even if you have absolutely no painting experience or background, we’re confident that you can paint this! Your Come Paint With Us instructor, Julia Ward, will provide you with step-by-step direction and easy to follow instructions.
Included in your class fee are all the materials you need to paint this bold sunflower: an easel with your 16×20″ canvas, an apron, all the right brushes, and pre-selected acrylic paint. No experience with painting is needed to have fun!
We love how paint and sip classes reveal each person’s individuality! Just as no two people are alike, no two paintings will be exactly the same. So, don’t worry if your painting doesn’t end up looking just like the instructor’s (or even like your neighbor’s). Everyone ends up interpreting the painting subject in a different way.

You’ll learn the basic principles of painting, and get to appreciate the beauty of being creative. We’ll have wine, beer, and finger foods available for purchase at the Foothills bar. After class, you’ll get to go home with an amazing painting that you yourself created!
