Just under two hours from Grass Valley lies the treasure of Lake Tahoe. From Inspiration Point off Highway 89, you can gaze upon the lake’s stunning landscape. With shimmering blue, turquoise waters surrounded by lush dark green forest and the orange and reds of a setting sun, you can’t help but want to put brush to canvas.
Right in the middle of the bay lies Fannette Island, the home of an old stone structure that was once Mrs. Knight’s teahouse. Gazing down upon the island, you can imagine her sitting there taking in the beauty of the Lake Tahoe area.
Now, without even driving two hours, you can paint your own creative version of this magnificent view! We’ve got a great paint & sip class coming up next week, capturing the breathtaking beauty of Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. Grab your tickets here and then join us at the Foothills Event Center on Tuesday, May 4th from 6:00 to 8:30 pm for this paint & sip class. Your instructor will provide you with step-by-step instruction. From beginner to advanced artists, you will enjoy this creative outlet. Come Paint with Us Paint and Sip classes are a fun way to enjoy an evening out with your friends, family, or co-workers. Food and beverages will be available for purchase if current COVID-19 guidelines allow. So, grab a glass of wine or a soda, and let’s get painting!
Our studio is located inside The Foothills Event Center, which has plenty of well-lit parking. We are following social distancing guidelines and sanitizing on a frequent schedule. Bring a mask, or you can get one onsite for a small donation.
The Foothills Event Center is conveniently located right off Highway 49 in Grass Valley. It is easy to get here from Yuba City, Reno, Nevada City, Penn Valley, Truckee, Roseville, Granite Bay, Downieville, Lake Tahoe, and other Sacramento areas.
Class sizes will be limited to ensure plenty of space for social distancing, so be sure to sign up early.
Your instructor, Anita Pearson, will guide you and your friends through two and a half hours of lively creativity, drinks, and laughs. Since art is a form of creative therapy, you don’t need to feel bad for treating yourself to fun night out with friends! No experience needed to have a good time.
