Today, we’d like to share some paint and sip class reviews with you! A couple of weeks ago, Come Paint With Us held a fun paint and sip class with, titled “Full Bloom.” This was a class in the medium of watercolor, and we painted a vibrant bouquet of flowers. Those in the class enjoyed relaxing and sipping on wine and beer from our historic Nevada County bar while they painted this whimsical composition.

“This is my second class. I had a great time, and left feeling inspired!”
“This was a great place for my first paint & sip experience! All you have to do is bring money for wine (if you want!), and they provide everything else (aprons, art supplies, etc.) Make sure to check the calendar on their website and book a week or two early – some of the classes definitely get booked up before the day of the event! My painting turned out a lot better than I expected. All in all, it was a fun experience, and I’d be happy to do it again!”

At this watercolor paint and sip class, our Artistic Director Julia Ward gave direction in painting these beautiful flowers. Some class attendees let us know that they were planning to frame their painting and then give it as a gift. Others were excited to show off their painting by hanging it up in their living room or foyer. Many joined us to enjoy fresh creativity, delicious appetizers, good wine, and friendly company!
