Instructor for our watercolor classes, Dori GreenbaumIt’s HERE! Come Paint With Us is excited to announce a new addition to our popular class lineup: watercolor classes.

No experience needed to join in on the watercolor fun; just paint, have fun, and learn more than you can imagine about watercolor painting.

After your watercolor painting class, you’ll take home a frame-ready 11×15” size watercolor painting. Our expert watercolor instructor Dori Greenbaum has years of experience painting and teaching watercolor classes. She exhibits her work at ArtWorks Gallery in downtown Grass Valley. She’ll provide you with all of the guidance you need to create your very own watercolor masterpiece!

As with all of our painting classes, all supplies will be provided: paint, canvas, the appropriate brushes, and easy-to-follow instruction. Just bring yourself, and a friend if you’d like.

Our watercolor painting classes will be held on Thursday, March 17 and Thursday, April 14. Both classes will be held from 9:30-11:30 am, with our doors opening at 9:00am. Coffee, tea, and muffins will be available for purchase.

tahoe-shoreMarch 17th’s painting will be “Tahoe Shore.” It’s the image pictured to the right (just click on it to see it in a larger size).

Lake Tahoe is the largest alpine lake in North America; deep and wide, bluer than blue and surrounded by the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Join us on the morning of Thursday, March 17th and we’ll be painting the beautiful Tahoe shore in watercolor.

Field of FlowersOn Thursday, April 14th, we’ll be re-creating the springy countryside painting pictured to the left, “Field of Flowers.”

We’re looking forward to experimenting with the watercolor medium to paint to create a light, springtime scene of flowers in a hillside field.

A limited amount of seats are available for these class dates, so make sure to sign up today to reserve your spot!
