sugar-skullCome Paint With Us invites you to observe the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with us! On Sunday, October 16 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, we’ll be creating the colorful painting pictured to the left. It’s called Sugar Skull, and you can see a larger version of this painting by clicking on it.

The Day of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in central and southern Mexico. Indigenous people have combined the Catholic holy day “All Saint’s Day” with their own ancient beliefs of veneration for their deceased loved ones. Sugar skulls are symbolic, meant to honor loved ones who have passed.

Come Paint With Us encourages you to get creative and use your own symbols and colors. That way, you’re creating your own one-of-a-kind work of art that expresses your individuality!

We have some new and exciting classes coming up this Fall! Reserve your spot today!
